• One skein of worsted weight yarn
• Size H (5.00mm) crochet hook
• Yarn needle

Gauge

4 stitches and 4 rows = 1 inch in half double crochet

Finished Size

0-6 months: 14 inches circumference

6-12 months: 16 inches circumference

Instructions

1. Chain 24 (for a 0-6 month hat) or 28 (for a 6-12 month hat).
2. Slip stitch into the second chain from the hook and each chain across. (23 or 27 stitches)
3. Chain 2, turn.
4. Half double crochet into each stitch across. (23 or 27 stitches)
