Vince Gagetta is a lifelong resident of Oakmont, Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Oakmont High School and the University of Pittsburgh. Gagetta has a deep love for his hometown, and his photographs capture the beauty and spirit of Oakmont.

Gagetta's work has been featured in numerous publications, including the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, and the Oakmont Advance. He has also had several solo exhibitions of his work.

Gagetta is a member of the Oakmont Historical Society and the Pittsburgh Photographic Society. He is also a volunteer at the Oakmont Carnegie Library.
