Zaneta was told that she would never be able to fly for a commercial airline.</p> <p>Zaneta refused to give up on her dream. She continued to fly, and she eventually became one of the most accomplished pilots in the country. In 1955, she became the first Black woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. Her flight was a major milestone in the history of aviation, and it inspired countless other Black women to pursue their dreams.</p> <p>Zaneta Dudley's story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the importance of following your dreams.
